It’s been many years since I last stepped inside the School of Art in Belfast and what a wonderful surprise I had on Friday 9th June. Invest NI who are supporting a textile collaborative network in Northern Ireland, hosted their bimonthly meeting at the Ulster University’s School of Art building in York Street. Alison Gault (Course Director) and her team proudly showed us around the facilities and the work of the final year students, which was of a very high standard and so varied without an identifiable house style.

These are a few of my favourites and apologies for not including the students name. A selection of this work will be shown at New Designers in London from the 28th June, along with the many other talented designers from across the UK who are graduating this year.
